Just came home from the holiday weekend and heard the sad news. Please accept my deepest condolences to the Howell family. What a great fellow Realtor who always showed an enormous amount of class and dignity. Always had a great joke and hearty laugh. One of the last true old school fellow realtors who always had his client's best intention at the foremost even when they didn't know it. I will miss him. John Bondy

I also was given a bag of cherries by him when in season that I will miss that special delivery of sweetness. Visits from him was always pleasant being in his company and I always asked about his family. I Knew he went to church and I know God has Blessed him. Florence Logan

So very sorry for your loss. Growing up in Emeryville on Emery Dr I always remember Mr.Howell coming to the gas station and our house and playing hockey with my dad. Always had a smile on his face and made me laugh. I was shocked to read this as I saw him 8 weeks ago at my sister’s funeral who came up to me and remembered the Newman girls. I will cherish that of him forever. Another angel in heaven hoping he gives my sister a hug from me My prayers are with you and your families at this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to the family of Douglas Howell.
I never met or spoken with Doug. Tuesday of this week, I made an inquiry on Doug's listing. What struck me was the professionalism and kindness that came from the voicemail message he left, as I was on another call. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to connect with him or meet him and that saddens me. Kindness, can make such an impact and it is something we need more of in life. Thank you Doug.

Our sincere condolences to the family. There are many stories that I could tell about Doug but the one that stands out the most is one Hallowe'en he tried to push his way in to the house as an old man. Needless to say he was pushed back. He later came back to apologize and we all had a good laugh..That was the Doug we knew! You will be missed by many.
May you rest in peace..

I remember the Taylor was having a lemonade stand to raise money for a charity he dressed up like Batman stood out on the highway flagging cars to come in a great time was had that day he would do anything for a laugh. He was a great role model for his grandchildren. May God be with you all at this sad time. Take time to heal but most of all hold Taylor, Cameron & Morgan in your loving arms as they going to need lots of love & understanding .
