Obituary of Jon Landon

Passed away suddenly on April 4, 2023 at the age of 74 leaving behind wife and high school sweetheart Audrey. Beloved father to Jessica (Julius) Oginski, Joseph (Heather) and Jacob. Adored Grandpa to Malaya, Kaleb, Aleksandra, Adrianna, Eli, Natasha and Alysha. Jon was born in Petrolia to parents Marney and Edith Landon. He will be dearly missed by brother Bill (Nancy).

Jon spent many years working at Windsor Regional Hospital - Western Campus providing care to the mentally ill.

A special thank you to Dr. Pan, Dr. I. Chow and all the staff and volunteers at the Cancer Clinic. Your care and compassion was beyond measure.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Jon’s honour would be appreciated to Paulin Memorial Church or Street Help.

As per Jon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E) on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 6pm to 9pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Paulin Memorial Church at 10 am until the time of Funeral Service at 11am.

Jon was always opposed to dress codes of any kind, please feel free to dress casually.
