Obituary of Edward "Ed" Potomski

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Edward “Ed” Potomski, on January 26, 2023. Beloved husband of Janet Potomski for 56 years. Loving father to Wendy Potomski (Rajeev), and the late Barry Potomski (2011). Reunited with his parents Michael Potomski (1985) and Florence Potomski (2007). Survived by his brothers and sister, Stanley, Robert, Terry (Sylvia), and Cathy (Adrian). Loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ed was an outstanding athlete and his football days will never be forgotten. Ed worked for the Ford Motor Company and retired after 35 years. He was a diehard fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Lions and a season ticket holder for the Windsor Spitfires for many years. Ed also was an avid golfer and loved playing cards, especially with his homemade cribbage board. Ed will be remembered for his crazy sense of humor, and forever cherished and missed by his many friends and family.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519.253.7234 on Sunday from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue Monday, January 30, 2023 from 10:00 am to the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the chapel.  Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
