To Ed's Families. As west-enders we new Potomski's Hardware very well. Many a window or door screen repaired after a baseball or what ever went thru. Than later on we also connected up again with Ed from being Spitfire Fans as Well. Starting at the Barn and continuing on to the Spitfires new Home. Remembering a lot of memories of cheering for the team from a huge group of us.
Memories are forever. Sincerely L & M Happy,

Dear Janet and Wendy: Julie and I send our deepest sympathies to you both. Ed, a true humanitarian and friend to everyone, was a doting father and husband who leaves behind an enviable legacy of love and laughter. We have always appreciated his sense of humour and interest in the arts ... as well, of course, the Tigers and Red Wings. I will miss teasing him {whenever we met} about scoring that touchdown in The Purple Bowl in London. Julie and I always enjoyed seeing and chatting with you both at Elio's musical shindigs. I'm sure Barry is welcoming him with open arms as they probably are building outdoor skating rinks up there in heaven...oh the memories!
Unfortunately, Julie and I are still coveting and avoiding large groups ... so we regret not being able to be with you at the funeral home to pay our respects in public. May Ed's memory be a blessing to you both. Love,
Sam and Julie Dragich

My deepest condolences to Janet and the Potomski family. Ed was a wonderful athlete, great boss and friend. Enjoyed golfing with him for many years and remembering the 4x100 relay in the summer of 62 which I felt I was standing still when he blew by me. RIP Ed.

Where to begin with stories of our dear and oldest friend Ed. He was witty, always with the sharp comebacks. happy, even when he ripped his pants jumping over my aunts fence.
Mischievous especially when he was with his dearest friend Lou Margolese . He was kind, driving to Toronto often to be with Lou during his last days
He was the best friend anyone could ask for. He can now be with Lou playing cribbage as Barry watches over them.
Janet and Wendy, may his memory bring you peace and joy. Love you, Kathy

Janet and Wendy:
Please accept my deepest sympathy on Ed's passing. My friendship with Ed included many rounds of golf and much laughter - usually at my expense. I never got the chance to see him play in his football career, but friends and ex-teammates of his like Dennis Leach, Sam Dragich, and Bill Sasso couldn't say enough about his phenomenal ability. I will miss him.
