Obituary of Carla Corrado

Called home by our Lord on January 16, 2023 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Renato Corrado with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Loving mother of Sandra Slater and husband Dave, Laura Slater and husband Rob, Gina Particelli and husband Chris and the late Christina Corrado (1972).

Nonna to Ryan and Alex Slater, Emma and Sophia Slater and Adrian Particelli. Dear sister of the late Anna (2016) and husband Italo Quattrin, Silvio and wife Maureen Truant, and the late Janet Truant (1997) and the late Lucio Truant (1948). Carla will be missed by her sister-in-law Egiziana Corrado. Carla is survived by her Zia Rina Scodellaro and Zia Maria Silani. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Corrado family would like to extend many thanks and sincere appreciation to those who cared for Carla in the last year of her life including Nurse Adriana, Nurse Catherine, Dr.Bergeron and the staff at Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County or Canadian Food For Children - Chatham Kent.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel - South Chapel (3048 Dougall Ave) on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Prayers at 8:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Church on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11am. Interment to follow to Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
