RIP November 3, 1938-Feb 15, 2021❤️ When most people think of the words “mother in law” there are quite a few thoughts that come to mind, and not all of them are flattering♀️ My mother in law was none of those things, though. Lucia(Ma) was the sweetest, kindest woman ever. How lucky was I to have her as my mother in law! She welcomed me into both her home and family with open arms over 30+ years ago. So many great memories! I remember how she took care of me like her own daughter when I was sick in my pregnancy, the countless hours they happily babysat my 3 children so we could have a night out, teaching me her recipes, the many Sunday lunches and holidays dinners. Our happiness was her happiness! She will always be remembered for her love for her family and her fierce protectiveness for each one us. Her greatest joy (and ultimate peace) was in the knowledge that her 3 kids, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren were all happy and healthy. Her job here was done. Selfishly we wanted her time here to be so much longer but her body was tired; she was tired. She missed her husband and parents terribly and for that we will find comfort knowing they will be reunited again. While she may not be with us physically today, her gentle spirit will remain in our hearts forever. So my dearest mother in law Lucia, I just wanted you to know, I’ll always appreciate you and love you so! ~Michelina
