I’m very sorry to have just recently read about Egidio’s passing. I no longer live in Windsor so am not up to date on these events. Egidio was always very kind to our family. My former husband used to assist him when he transitioned the flooring at the Novelletto Centre. He was also very gracious to sing Ave Maria at his(Mario Cervi) funeral in 2016. He had a beautiful voice that shone through when unaccompanied. Egidio was a shining example of a man who dedicated his life to serving others & has left a beautiful legacy with ICHA & the Novelletto Centre.
My sincere condolences,
Jill Anderson

I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Novelletto while he was at Oak Park. He always had a smile, a kind word and a sparkle in his eyes. I remember one Halloween where he was dressed as a gladiator. He had so much fun with all the children who came to trick or treat. May all the memories and stories you hear about your Father give you comfort. My sincere condolences to you all.

Egidio believed in me during a very difficult time in my life. Presenting me with an ICHA bursary after a very trying time in my academic life. He spoke of the disability community with genuine respect and heart. To my mind it was the most remarkable thing taking what others would choose to look away from and offering a place for them to be welcome. He encouraged me and supported me in my studies and today the ICHA sponsors my disability issues radio program and I have the honor of working for his charity. I learned from Egidio we all have something to contribute and a disability is not a limitation. I can never thank him enough for showing me in life there are things worth speaking up about. My condolences to his entire family.

Deepest sympathies to the Novelletto Family
I would just like to take a moment to let you know that your Mom Filomena was a friend of mine she stood up at my wedding and she sewed my wedding dress for me also she had hands of gold. Your Dad sang at many of our family functions at St. Patrick's Church. He was a huge asset to our community at St Patrick's. In his later years we would see him at Chartwell Oak Park and he would sing in the foyer and just pick up everybodies evening. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. He might be gone in body but his spirt will continue in all of you. Rest in peace Egidio

To Egidio’s loving family: May God comfort you as you grieve the loss of your dear father, grandfather, brother. Egidio was a good man who generously shared his many talents with the Italian Community and beyond. We especially remember the many times he honoured our Lady with his beautiful rendition of the “Ave Maria.” How fitting that his Funeral Mass is on the feast day of the Immaculate Conception with our Lady welcoming him home to the safe embrace of her Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Sincere sympathy,
Mario & Cathy Favero & family

To all of Egidio's boys
Your parents were the best in everything: songs, friendliness, kindness, and helpful.
We vacationed together with them to Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela with Peter 1991, To the Holy Land with Paolo 1987, to Punta cana and Our Lady of Snows in Belleville, Illinois, all beautiful memories.
We all enjoyed Edigio's voice all the time but the best when my mother passed at Heavenly Rest he sang Mamma.
May God reward him for all the beautiful things he did for everyone.
Condolences to all the family, Maria, Michael and Nina Cariero
