Obituary of Garrie Rogers Nolan

NOLAN-Garrie
Passed away peacefully on August 3rd 2022 at the age of 57, with his loving wife at his side. Devoted and beloved husband of Elena (Helen) Nolan (Nee Caruana). Precious and loving father to Kaylee (Godson) and Alexa (Mathew), and their dogs Gia and Kali. Adored Papa to Kayson and Kayden. Dear brother to Leslie (Morley) Stewart. Predeceased by parents Garrie Sr (2005) and Esther Nolan (2005); in-laws Leonardo (2017) and Anna Caruana (2013). Dear brother-in-law of Anna (Brad) Makaric, and Mary (Frank) Urso. Cherished cousin to Lynda and Dennis Smith, and Barbara Chaney (Late Norman). Survived by Aunt Loretta Nolan (Late James) and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Garrie will also be missed by longtime friends Ziad and Ann Nasser. Garrie was a natural athlete and enjoyed participating on many baseball and basketball teams. He was a dedicated basketball coach at Catholic Central Highschool and off the court he was more than a coach, he was a father figure and mentor to many young men.  

Friends and family will be receive at WINDSOR CHAPEL ( South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave on Sunday August 7th, 2022 from 2pm-6pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral Service to celebrate Garrie's life will be held on Monday August 8th, 2022 at 11am at Windsor Chapel. Cremation to follow.
