Bruce was a great guy and a neighbour of ours along with his parents and Arlene on Ypres. We all attended John Campbell and Kennedy C.I. I remember as a kid Bruce carried me on his back at a St. Barnabas church picnic race and we won! That was the kind of guy he was. My condolences go out to Mrs. Willett and Arlene and family. Dear old K.C.I. pal from gr. 10, I believe. Good times playing ball, Friday night dances. Long forgotten names flooding back- Iris F., Karen K., Joanne B. Rick L., Eddie B., and many others. Fifty some years ago, but many fond memories remain. We were pals for a short while only. RIP Bruce.

Bruce was a great friend and even though we were separated by a great distance, we managed to keep in touch since I left Windsor in 1976. Bruce came out west in 1978 and I took him to the top of Lake Louise for his first run in the Rockies - it didn’t end well. It was significantly different than Mt. Holly in Detroit. We also enjoyed some memorable days when Bruce was living in Toronto - as mentioned above, details are best left unsaid. My condolences to Mrs. Willett, Arlene and the rest of the family. Thanks, Roy, One of Bruce’s favourite memories was of skiing with you and his epic fall while skiing, he told that tale often to my kids! We will miss him, and his stories, always.

It's a sad day when you lose a friend who lived life to the fullest and on his terms. It's hard to think of any memory of Grade 13 at Kennedy or university without having Bruce be part of it. Looking back we certainly did a lot of wild things but, oh, what memories. We were having the time of our lives. Bruce was an excellent team-mate and an even better friend. I'm sure he will be missed by all his family and friends. Thoughts and prayers are with the family. MaryAnn and Ken McRae

To Mrs Willett, Arlene & family. What can I say about Bruce? You stated in the obituary that he lived his life on his own terms. He certainly did that. He loved his family and his multitude of friends, many from the good old days at Kennedy Collegiate. There will be a void left in our circle of friends. My sincerest condolences to all of you for your profound loss. Rest In Peace Bruce.
