Dear Friends and Family of Aunt Helen,
On this Good Friday it is comforting to remember that Helen is "alive in Christ, her living head and clothed in righteousness divine."
She has claimed her crown because she has this CONFIDENCE: that to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD.
She was a gift to the world. If you'd mention: Mother Theresa, Corrie Ten Boom, Joni E. Tata and the man who translated "How
Great Thou Art", she'd have a story of when she had met them! She was a fascinating woman of God!
She was Christ's ambassador spreading the aroma of the knowledge of Him to those she met, near and afar.
She knew that the promises of Scriptures are the truths on which to build our lives! Helen gloried in the Cross. "Beneath the Cross of Jesus" and "I am His and He is Mine" were two of her many favorite hymns!
We thank God for Helen's 96 years and celebrate her first Easter in Heaven! We love you and thank you for your godly example! We are blessed!
