Dear Friends and Family of Aunt Helen, On this Good Friday it is comforting to remember that Helen is "alive in Christ, her living head and clothed in righteousness divine." She has claimed her crown because she has this CONFIDENCE: that to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. She was a gift to the world. If you'd mention: Mother Theresa, Corrie Ten Boom, Joni E. Tata and the man who translated "How Great Thou Art", she'd have a story of when she had met them! She was a fascinating woman of God! She was Christ's ambassador spreading the aroma of the knowledge of Him to those she met, near and afar. She knew that the promises of Scriptures are the truths on which to build our lives! Helen gloried in the Cross. "Beneath the Cross of Jesus" and "I am His and He is Mine" were two of her many favorite hymns! We thank God for Helen's 96 years and celebrate her first Easter in Heaven! We love you and thank you for your godly example! We are blessed! Denise, Ron, and Family

my heartfelt sympathies and comfort to the family of helen palmer, at this time of both grieving her loss as well as taking tribute of her "life well lived" ....what an inspiring lady of gentle and determined spirit on behalf of her callings to serve the Lord in distant lands and closer to home...my mother ( Minerva Houston and then Musgrave) and who would become my "Auntie Helen" were more or less contemporaries in growing up, in nursing training, and family overlaps that included church and personal connections with my parents and us kids. We were in awe of this person serving across the world on the Indian subcontinent! Even those somewhat distant memories evoke today warmth and serenity and renewal of purpose amidst a troubled world where the gospel and healing care remain anchors of her testimony and witness to us all...may you feel and know the love of Christ who was everything to this wonderful servant and friend to so many... I'm grateful for Helen's interest in me and my ministry with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Cameroon over many years. The picture dates from November 2004, when I visited her in her home in Windsor. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family. May Helen's memory always be a blessing.

Dear Palmer family: I had the privilege of working with Helen at the Health Unit. We had many conversations regarding Helen's time in India and I appreciated her perspectives on life.
