I remember Nonna always being so welcoming and wanting to make sure we were always living our best life. Her cooking was amazing and I always looked forward to a big bowl of pastina or gnocchi after the long trip to Windsor. I remember making chocolate milk with the powdered mix she kept for us when we were kids…I’m sure the same container was in her pantry for 10+ years, but it didn’t matter because it was always a special treat at Nonnas house. Everyone was always welcome, new partners, boyfriends or girlfriends, always had to pass the “nonna test” . Basically if you ate her food (all of it!) you were safe.. otherwise she would ask “ what’s the matter, you don’t like my food!??” Nonna we will miss you dearly and hope you rest in peace. Give Nonno and hug from us and make sure he knows we’re all OK, everything is OK. Baci xoxo Love your Grandson Zyan .. (Ryan)
