Most sincere condolences to the entire Quenneville family. Fred was a force to be reckoned with, who could hold a room with just a smile, or most certainly a great story. From early days in St. Clair Beach, to great business success in Windsor, "Freddie Q" was a friend to many. He will be missed.

…While playing golf for many years at Essex, there are times when I wouldn’t see Freddie for weeks…but when we met up..we would exchange jokes…and more often than not, we had NOT heard each other’s new offering! A character guy, who will be sadly missed.

It is with a heavy heart that I heard the news about Fred yesterday. I will live with the great memories of the times we spent through high school in Belle River. And our times in University. He was my campaign manager for commerce society executive at University of Windsor. He was always there to help. We spent time with his dad watching the Canadiens win Stanley Cups.
It was always so welcoming.
I could write a book.
God is with you.

My husband Steve, a retired partner at Deloitte, often spoke of his deep admiration for Fred's financial acumen, investment strategy, and deep personal integrity. He always told me that if or when I needed it, Fred would help me navigate the management of our investments and could be counted on to do so with the highest level of care and competence.
Steve passed away six months ago and I'm so sad that I wasn't able to meet Fred before he became ill. As one might expect, he has left his clients in good hands at RBC Dominion Securities and I do feel well cared for there; however, I so wish I had known this very special man.
My sincere condolences go to his wife and family at this time, which I know from experience is so difficult for them. Ruth Black

I went to St. Gregory's Grade School with "Freddie". He always made me laugh and I can still see his thin frame and curly hair. He was always kind and I have nice memories of knowing him throughout our school days. I now live in Edmonton, Alberta, but every year (except when Covid prevented it) I came home to visit with my wonderful family and friends and I've enjoyed setting up a small grade school/high school reunion with my close girlfriends as part of my trip. During this last reunion I was told that Fred was ill. My friend told me that he was staying near my parents' home and the approximate location of the house where he could often be seen sitting on the front porch looking out towards Beach Grove Golf Course. The next day, on the way to my folks' home, I made a detour on the off chance I could find this house. It was raining and I just about gave up when I saw a man about to be wheeled back in the house. I stopped, rolled down the window, and yelled, " Fred?" When I told him it was Laura "Drew" he invited me over so I pulled up, grabbed an umbrella and had a nice chat with my old friend. Now Freddie has moved on to his next adventure and I feel SO blessed that I had a chance to say hello...and good-bye that one day. Much love to Freddie's family from Laura Bachynski

Fred was a great man he always made me feel like family! Always picking up the phone or open to an impromptu visit welcoming me into his office. Over the years he has offered sound advice and sometimes even just a chat, I will truly miss this. My condolences to his family who he fondly referenced many times over the years… May his legacy live long with all of us.

A true gentlemen's gentleman of principle and grace, who played hard and worked hard. Freddie walked on high moral ground and treated his friends like family, taking genuine interest in all of our lives and careers. His generosity with his time and his resources were unprecedented. Florida will never be the same. Always in my heart, never to be forgotten.

A rock in the community, and an anchor to the Quenneville family - Freddie will be remembered for years as a friend and solid investment advisor. He always made time for his family, colleagues and friends. His giving back to the community in many ways, matched by his devotion to his clients, was a testament to his character and is part of what made Freddie the person we all grew to know and admire. My first visit to Freddie as his illness journey began, was filled with fond memories and laughter, but this unforgiving cancer took its toll, and he is now in much better hands. On behalf of the Neufeld family, our sadness will be replaced with any happy memories. Bless you Freddie for our friendship.
