Obituary of John Andrew McLean

McLean, John  

Passed away suddenly on November 9, 2021 at the age of 73. Beloved spouse of Elaine Gillis (nee Ursulak). Loving father of Shannon McLean-Spicer (Jeff) and Nathan Doan (2002), and step-father of Chris Gillis and Lindsay Wiley (Shane). Special Gramps to Tristan, Ben, Nathan, Taylor, Christopher, Jacob, and Lochlan. John and his stories will be missed by many relatives and friends, and his loss will be sorely felt by his golf buddies on Wednesday and Sunday mornings. John was well-known in the automotive community and retired from Gus Revenberg Chevrolet Buick GMC after many years of dedicated service.  The family would like to thank Windsor Essex EMS and Windsor Police Service, especially Allison for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Vicki Cormier. As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place  and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. If you desire, donations may be made in John’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
