Elaine, so sorry to have just heard about John’s passing. Please accept my sincere condolences and know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
John was a great friend, confidant and one of the good guys to many. I was fortunate enough to have shared a few rounds of golf as the adopted brother with John and Dad, which always included a few laughs, stories and beverages.
He will be surely missed by all. Keep the smiles and memories of John with you always.

Elaine, my sincerest condolences to you and your family. I really enjoyed my talks with John about almost everything. We talked about his time in the factory, at Howitt's, and golf. Always a pleasure to talk with and discuss issues. He will be missed. I looked up some of the pictures from our GM charity golf tournaments where the Gus Revenberg dealership was always a major supporter of ours. John attended most our tournaments with several co-workers. John also was responsible for hiring me at the dealership as a part time courtesy driver. May he rest in eternal peace and may his memory be a blessing... Hugs to all, Tony Sisti

….John and I go back….many, many years. I recall his days as an “ Assistant “ at Windsor Western Hospital….got caught up more recently at Revenbergs…got our last 5-6 vehicles from there, because if you ever went in for service ( which wasn’t very often), we’d end up chewing the fat in his office. He glowed when he talked of his winters in Panama City. His passing is pure theft…I’ll miss him…as many others will. ..sending love & support.

Elaine we were very sorry to hear of John's sudden passing.
You both were great neighbors and were missed when you moved.
Justin always felt close to John and would go over to talk to him. John always listened and never judged. Whenever Caitlin had car trouble John was her first call.
John was always a friendly face and always had a good story to tell. His music wasn't always my favorite but I let it slide.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Elaine, Please accept my condolences for the passing of a great guy. As a District Manager for General Motors I first met John in the mid 1980’s. He started with Gus Revenberg’ almost at the beginning when Gus first opened his store in Windsor. He was absolutely loved by all the service customers at the dealership. My mother refused to take her car anywhere else only because of John and his special service to her. He had tremendous charm and charisma and will be sorely missed. All the best to you at this tragic time. - Joe Hilaire

Elaine we are all crushed by the loss of John. He was truly one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and we always considered him part of the Demers family. We will miss him so much. We are here for you. His presence was larger than life and he has left a legacy of what the simple act of being nice to people and making them feel special can do to brighten a persons day. Let’s all carry that forward and be more like John.

Our family is saddened and in shock to learn of John's sudden passing. We have known him for so many years - through his time at Howitt Motors and Revenberg's. Whenever he knew that Anita or I was in the dealership, he made a point of coming out for a visit.. When Anita took delivery of a vehicle - he always showed up, unannounced at the driver's side window with a big smile and a hug of congratulations. He was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.We send our deepest sympathies to Elaine and the rest of John's family and friends. Rest in peace dear friend.
