Ms. Daypuk saved me when I arrived as a new immigrant to Canada. I had meant to connect with Ms. Daypuk but life was hard and I could not. I think of her and deeply regret that providence did not give me an opportunity to connect and thank her properly for what she did for me. Her wise guidance which at the time felt wrong was the correct one. With her help I finally did escape the abusive Windsor home I had been sponsored to come to. With her guidance I applied to McMaster University and escaped to Hamilton with a full scholarship. I love you Ms. Daypuk for being my guiding angel. Inderjot

Dear Herman, Pat and Family, Tom and I have been thinking about you lately and wondering how everyone is. Sorry to hear about Grace. The last time I saw her was at the end Grade 8 when my loving Godmother, Jean, took me on a trip to Oakville and Toronto. Oakville was where Grace and her husband, Bill, lived. Bill was very fond of bowling and introduced me to ten pin bowling at the time - not too easy for me! As for Grace, she was a generous person whom always tried to help out others and was proud of her students. I believe I still have a fashion belt that she gave to me. Josie and Tom
