Our deepest condolences to you Greg, Ryan, Loren, Aryn and your family. Annie was fiercely loyal and a devoted mother and wife. Our times together with the Markett family were always full of great conversation and lots of laughs. Our university days with Ksenia, Lorie and Lesley were some of the best. Annie's light always shone bright and she will continue to shine through her beautiful children. All our love, Lisa, Ken, Jake and Ben Okazawa

Dear Greg and Family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your beautiful Annie. After meeting in our first year at McMaster, we became fast friends through university and beyond. She was lovely inside and out, funny, adorably cranky at our immature shenanigans sometimes but also thoughtful and kind. I recall her patiently trying to teach me how to drive a stick shift in her brand new jeep - her pride and joy (it did not go well). During that time she waited for that special someone - and he came in the form of Greg shortly after we finished school. Though we had lost touch in recent years - with family and work and distance getting in the way - I will always hold 'Anka' and our wonderful time together - when we were young and carefree and full of hope - in my heart. Love to the Markett and Soce families. I am attaching a few photos of Annie from those lovely youthful years (pre-iphones).
xoxo Ksenia (Greg, Tanya and Larysa) Evans

Dear Greg and family,
I am so sad to hear this news. Sending huge hugs to you as you deal with this difficult time. I enjoyed Annie so much as fellow volleyball parents. She was always a class act. May she Rest In Peace and may you all find comfort knowing she is finally at peace. Xo

I met Annie 30+ years ago at work. The moment I saw her, I just knew she was my kind of person. I was not wrong. We became fast friends and spent years since growing that friendship to include our husbands and beautiful children. Her direct approach has grounded me many times over the years and I have learned so much about grace and true kindness from her. She was a great gift in my life, I will carry that with me forever. Greg, Ryan, Loren and Aryn, we love you and we are saddened beyond words with you.

My heart breaks for you all. Annie was my very best friend at University. We had so many adventures together and I will cherish every single one of them for the rest of my life. We lost touch in the early 2000s as I moved with my family around the country at a time when social media and cell phones didn’t exist. I search for her for many years on Facebook and we finally found each other on Instagram. Made me soooo happy to reconnect. We had so many fun times together and she will forever hold a piece of my heart. My thoughts are with you during this most difficult time. May she Rest In Peace.
