Obituary of Pauline Miriam Trautman

It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of a loving mother, grandmother and sister on January 8, 2021 at the age of 87 years at the Village of St. Clair. Predeceased by her husband Louis Trautman of over 50 years and by her parents Michael and Clara Crough. Loving mother of Karen Watts (Peter), Carl Trautman (Donna), John Trautman (Kathy) and Eric Trautman (Sachiko). Cherished grandmother of Ben Watts, Luke Watts (Maddy), Louis, Katherine, Kurt, Lisa Trautman and Denny. Dear sister in-law of Mary Crough. And predeceased by her siblings Eugene Crough, Clara Grondin (Ray), and Miriam Crough. Dear aunt to Michelle Grondin (Bill), Michael Grondin, Peter Grondin (Yvonne), Mary Prince (Stewart), Patrick Grondin (Monique). Pauline was a hardworking and dedicated teacher with the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board for over 30 years. She was truly one of the best! At leisure, she loved spending time on the golf course, at the bowling alley or getting in her laps at the swimming pool or playing the piano and singing, all of which she did well and with passion. We will miss her infectious smile, lovely laugh and those smiling Irish eyes. In keeping with Paulines wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home.
