Obituary of Mark Kalbol
KALBOL, Mark Robert (Marky)
Passed peacefully surrounded by love at Hospice Village Windsor on June 2, 2021. Age 57 years. Loving fiance and partner of Debbie Aqwa. Welcomed home by his many Grandparents along with parents Mark (2019) and Judy Kalbol (1995) and sister Katherine Girard (2009). Forever loved by sister Kristine Vorshuk and nephews Brett and Neil. Sister Karen Waddell and family and Kelly (Scott) Matis and family. Special uncle and friend to Jerry Girard (Kari) and family. Many aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to list, also survive. Mark left behind a battery of friends, some like family. He loved auto racing and once raced at Checker Flag Speedway in Windsor. Marky was a certified Auto Mechanic who worked over 30 years along side his father, Mark Sr., and grandfather, John Sr., at Horse Shoe Battery & Electric Service Ltd. He was a master of his trade. Marky also loved to cook and was a fantastic Grill Master, often cooking so much food, he shared it with family, friends, and neighbours. Sadly his dog Kaya passed two weeks before him but she too benefited from his excellent culinary skills. If you so desire, donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor Essex or the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society. Heartfelt thanks to Hospice, Dr. Zghal, Dr. Rukavina, Dr. Schneider, VON, LHIN, and Bayshore.
