My heart is heavy with the news of Mark aka Kabes’’ passing. Even though I haven’t seen him in several years, my mind is full of memories of so many outings, endless bbq’s, playing with Ci Ci and Yoda, NASCAR and jet ski races, boating and snowmobiling. I always had a soft spot in my heart for Mark as he was one of the good ones. To Mark’s family, I wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. RIP Kabes. Be at peace now. Lisa Powers (Parent)

kabes although our friendship lasted over 40 years it was always a time to remember .like the time you came to mount carmel a its not worth 500 bucks it is Priceless nd your volkswagen had a flat in the snowstorm and i went to help you and when we jacked up the car and the fender fell off .hh man in that snowstorm you tosed the fender in the back and we continued on to my and debs house in mount carmel at country corners .also remembering when you thought a boa constrictor was a good pet ,,,whew that was wrong. but one thing for sure you kept my convertibles running strong .i also remember when you dropped by with that big fish for jordan jon and deb to see and i took a picture .well man the Lord now has a great mechanic and the curtis family has great great memories .i remember the last few years i always wanted to buy that big CHROME MINI BIKE and you always said it was worth 500 bucks and i would say NO way and we laughed and laughed .but man you know what man it is now PRICELESS LOVE YA MAN FROM THE CURTIS FAMILY
