Valente, Michael 

June 16, 1969 - April 14, 2021

He will live in the heart of the family 

And friends he made

And be known always for

The foundation he laid

Because goodness and fairness never die,

They go shining on like the stars in the sky.

Just as Honour and truth endure forever,

Death is powerless to destroy or sever,

So, his gallant soul has taken flight

Into a land where there is no night

His spirit is alive, and he has only gone on

To a brighter and more wonderful dawn.

With great affliction, the Valente family announces that Michael Mario Pietro Valente passed on April 14, 2021 in Windsor, Ontario. Beloved son of Mario and Darlene (Meloche) Valente. Incredible husband to Edyta Valente. Proud father of Sylvano and Selina Valente. Beloved brother of Steven and Janie Valente. Unforgettable Zio to Daniela, Marina, and Massimo Valente. Best son-in-law to Grace Przybyslawska and memorable brother-in-law to Rafal Przybyslawski. Michael will be missed by his aunts and uncles, as well as his many cousins. He began his career at the tender age of eighteen and enjoyed a very successful profession as a realtor/developer. Michael  loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He never missed his kids' hockey games or dance recitals. He loved the pleasure of serving as “Coach Mike'' and “DDM (Dance Dad Mike)” to his children’s friends and peers. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, zest for life, and appreciation for delicious food.  Though Mike is gone, and our hearts are full of grief, in his words “please do not dwell my death but celebrate my life”.  

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road E, 519-253-7234 on Sunday April 18, 2021 from 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Private Funeral Mass will be held on Monday April 19th, 2021. Private Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Reservations and masks are required to attend the visitation. Please call Windsor Chapel between the hours of 830am – 4pm to make a reservation.
