MARIER- Charles Jr. "T-boy"

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandpa/bubba on December 31st, 2020 at the age of 71. Cherished husband of Cindy (Pez) for 47 years. Loving father to Christa Marier (Bestie Derek Papineau), Che-Lyn Marier (Leslie) and Cherisse Tornga (Kevin). Devoted and adoring bubba to Brielle, Rylee, Charlie, Oliver, Keatyn and Oakley. Loving son of the late Charles and Albertine Marier. Dear brother of the late Connie Raper, Charlene "Toni" Sanko, Claudette Hart, Carmen Lewis, Claude and Conrad Marier, Carole Dray and Pauline Hillis. Charlie will be missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was a dedicated elementary school teacher for 34 years with the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board. Besides his great love for his family, he had a passion for coaching baseball, hockey and soccer. He was his daughters #1 fan and never missed a gymnastics meet or a soccer game. He was a devout Catholic and very involved with Most Precious Blood Parish. Charlie loved to travel anywhere, especially to cruise the seas. When he stayed home, you would find him volunteering at John Scott's Auto Shop, hanging out with the boys. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd E, 519-253-7234, on Tuesday January 5, 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Reservations and masks are required to attend visitation. Please call Windsor Chapel between the hours of 8:30 and 4pm to make your reservation. A Family funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at 10am. In memory of Charlie, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Windsor,and Essex County, the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or Charity of your Choice would be greatly appreciated.
