Obituary of Kyle Chinnery

CHINNERY-Kyle William

Mom's Little Peanutman is finally pain-free. Kyle William Chinnery passed away Tuesday March 23, 2021 shortly after his 19th birthday. Survived by his loving parents Danielle and Keith of Tecumseh. Much loved by sister Calder and Frosty Dog. Grandson of Brenda and Reg DeNure of Chatham as well as Margot and (the late) Bill Chinnery of Burlington. Also adored and admired by many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, Neighbours and Teammates. Kyle was a recent Honours graduate of Tecumseh Vista Secondary School and, amongst other school activities, a proud member of the Band. Kyle was enrolled in Pre-Health Sciences at St. Clair College; his lifelong dream to become a Firefighter and a Paramedic so he could help others will never be realized. He was an official with TSMHA, OMHA, OWHA, Rose City 3on3 and Tecumseh Minor Soccer and knew the rules (and enforced them) like no one else. He loved being on the ice, whether it was playing for Tecumseh Eagles, Vista Vortex or wearing the Stripes. Kyle was quite an entrepreneur and learned quickly how to buy and sell and move up to the next thing, which eventually led to atv's, dirt bikes, motorcycles and his Jeep. He loved a good deal, and always offered a discounted price to those In Service. He was the owner and sole proprietor of Windsor Scanner Company and the offshoots Windsor Strobe and Safety and Windsor CB, buying, selling and shipping new and used electronics all over North America. Delivery drivers and customers were a common sight in the family driveway. He recently got his Marine Band certification and HAM Radio license (VE3 JAN) and in a short time span was instrumental in getting several other people into the hobby. Kyle had a proverbial Heart of Gold and was always thinking of others and how he could enrich their lives, whether by volunteering (Tecumseh Snow Angels, Fire Safety Week, FireFest), tutoring or just a friendly conversation over his latest transaction. The boy liked to talk, evident by the passionate presentations he made during the Save St. Gregory's School Campaign. He loved spending time at the cottage, won the fishing trophy several times, learned to water ski at age 7 and got his boater's license when he was 10. His time was short, but he leaves quite a mark, just ask anyone who was fortunate to know him. Kyle was an Organ Donor and the little bugger's unique personality will continue on.
