Obituary of Agnes Renaud
RENAUD, AGNES (nee Mayea) passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on March 22, 2021 at the age of 89. Loving wife and best friend of the late Austin (2000). Caring and loving mother of Gary and Paulette, Roger, Joanne Renaud and David Jacob, Paul and Doreen, Colleen and Andre Martin, Jim, Mary-Anne and Gérard Roy and Brian and Renée. Predeceased by sons Ronald (1991), Fr. Ray (2001) and Chris (Sonya Kolar) (2017). Proud Mémé of Ryan and Christy, Sean, Julie, Steven, Chantale (Daniel), Darren (Stephanie), Austin, Eric, Monique, Danielle (Alex), Brandon (Lisa), Micheal, Nathalie, Nina, Christopher, Connor and Alexa. Predeceased by Katie (1986) and Jason (1992). Proud Great-Mémé of Jack. Dear daughter of the late Clifford and Seraphine Mayea. Agnes will also be sadly missed by her siblings, the late Donald (Mary Ann) Mayea, Eleanor (Henry) Major, Blaise (Theresa) Mayea, the late Doris Mayea, Delores (Hector, late Bill Chayer) Lucier, the late Wilfrid and Bernadette Mayea, and Bernice (late Ray) Seguin. Dear daughter-in-law to the late Thomas and Florence Renaud and sister-in-law to the late Clarence and Mary Renaud, the late Marion and Harold Hollister, the late Sister Mary Arthur, the late Ruth and Harry Waugh, the late Erwin and Angie Renaud, the late Betty and Dick Ennis, the late Theresa (Karl) Klinck and Norm and Sophia Renaud. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family (especially Sharon Renaud, Yvonne MacLellan, Julie Taylor-Renaud and Murray Logan.) A special thank you to the staff at Heron Terrace for their wonderful care and compassion shown to our mother. Agnes worked for many years as a Nurse’s Aide in the Nursery at Hotel Dieu Hospital on Ouellette Ave. She was also a very devoted and longtime member of St. Vincent De Paul Church in Windsor where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. Her family will miss her delicious meals and homemade pies. Agnes loved playing cards and visiting the casino in her leisure time. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 2 - 5 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ste. Anne’s Parish, 12233 Tecumseh Rd.
