Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 7th at the age of 78.

Beloved husband of Irene for over 54 years.

Loving father of Michael, David (Mary), Maureen and Jo-Anne.

Cherished grandfather of Jessica (Dave), Katie (Wayne) and great grandfather of Keegan.

Dear brother June Laforet (Jerry), Linda Burke (Ernie), the late Carol Bezaire, Brother in law of Bill Chartier (the late Mary Lou), Mary Ann Tondreau (Al), The late Gladys St. Louis (the late Herman) and the late Marion Arsenault (the late Gerald).

Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Robert was a proud member of Knights of Columbus Council #1453 serving in numerous positions.  He loved to play cards, yahtzee and spend time at the cottage.  The family would like to thank PSW Theresa Laframboise for her love and care of dad.  Special thanks to everyone that called and spoke to dad while he was house bound over the last few years, it meant more than you could know to him!

The family would appreciate donations to Windsor Essex Hospice in memory of dad.

Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, March 10th from 2-5 pm & 7-9 pm.  K of C Prayers under the auspices of Council #1453 on Wednesday at 4:15 pm.  Funeral Service to be celebrated on Thursday, March 11th at 11 am at the funeral home.  Cremation to follow.  The family invites you to share your memories at www.windsorchapel.com
