Loving Wife of Mario Strano with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Cherished Mother of Tina DeSantis and husband Angelo, Sara Larocque and husband Tom, and Rosemarie Catalano and husband Tony. Treasured and devoted Nonna of Matthew Larocque and wife Nina, Melissa Martin and husband Lucas, Daniella and Diana DeSantis. Adoring Bis-Nonna of Callum Martin. Reunited with her loving parents Fortunato and Serafina Surace. Beloved sister of the late Frank Surace and late Domenica, the late Vincenza Giugno and late Salvatore, Josephine Ieraci and late Albino, Rocco Surace and wife Natalina, late Maria Oliva and husband Orazio, and sister in law of the late Grace Skope and late Bill. She will also be missed dearly and remembered by many nieces and nephews. Rosa retired from Hotel Dieu and Met Hospitals after many selfless, dedicated years of caring for patients as a Registered Practical Nurse. After retirement, Rosa and Mario spent their winter months of over 30 years in their second home Acapulco, Mexico, where they created wonderful lifelong memories with many dear family members and friends. Rosa was a devout Catholic, to which she dedicated so much of her life.
