Obituary of Sr. Maria Gąsiorowska

Gąsiorowska, Sister Maria Entered eternal life peacefully, on Wednesday October 2, 2019, on the Feast of the Guardian Angels, at the residence of the Ursuline Sisters AHJ, in Windsor, Ontario, at the age of 86 and in the 66th year of religious life. She served the Windsor Community for over 50 years as an early childhood educator and touched the hearts of many generations of preschoolers and their families. She served others until the last moment with her gentle, kind presence and never really retired. She will be missed by her religious community, by her brother of Poland and her nephews and their families from Windsor. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234, on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, October 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Church with visitation at the church 1 hour prior.
