I met Sister Mary nearly 50 years ago when we were both studying Early Childhood Education. I would drive her home after class, and we had nice chats. She was always interested in my life. We lost touch until I began to attend morning Mass at Holy Trinity Church many years ago. She always greeted me with a cheerful smile or a warm hug if we had a few minutes to talk. Sister Mary continued to ask me about my family and priest son Fr. Alex. She would give me little holy treasures for him. I always knew that she prayed for me and my family and that gave me great consolation. Sister reminded me to pray especially to St. Ursula for my daughter, which I do every morning at Holy Trinity. I am a better person, having known Sister Mary. I will miss her happy delight every time we saw one another. Yet, I am happy that she has gone to be with her Most Beloved Spouse. I know that she continues to pray for me and my family, as I do for her. I am filled with gratitude for her friendship. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are lifted for her Sisters and for her family. Charlotte Colautti JMJ
