So sorry to read of Allan's passing. I am John Butcher's wife. John spoke often of the good times he had with Al while they both worked at Wm Hands. Our deepest condolences to the Kidd family. Your father was a wonderful man and a welcome sight when we brought our clothes to the cleaners. He hired our daughter, Erin, when she was a shy high-school student, and he taught her many useful work skills for future employment. He always had a friendly smile and a kind word for everyone. Allan Kidd was a neighbor, a good friend, a second father to me growing up, and my boss for about sixteen years. He treated me like gold, but also taught me about work ethic and "the customer is always right" and customer service. This launched my 30 year career into nursing for which he was very supportive. Allan is proof that angels walk this earth. I am very blessed to have had him in my life. My deepest condolences to Madelon and family

Dear Madelon, Allen, Richard. Very sad to read about Al seniors passing. His smile was always warm and welcoming . His eyes sparkled with mischief and good humour. We had many great discussions about the UK, life and world events. We will remember him fondly. Leah and I are away in Huntsville until September 28th visiting with Rachel, otherwise we would have been with you at the visitation and the service. Love to all.
