Obituary of Julie Breschuk

BRESCHUK, Julie (nee Tyahla) June 8, 1925 – June 30, 2019 Julie passed away with grace and dignity on her own terms on June 30th at the wonderful age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Lee Breschuk (2005). Loving mother to Jim and wife Sharon, Andy and wife Linda, Mike and wife Janine. Cherished “Baba” to Steven and Melissa, Jeff and Jen, Marc and Monika, Mike, Paul, Dan, Marty, Mickey and Lauren. Great-grandmother to Amara, Lily, Parker, Ryan, Nora, Charlie, Maksym and Lucy. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Eva Tyahla, dear sister Mary Rapsky and brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law Vera Ellwood and Wally, brother-in-law Emil Breschuk and Mary. Dear aunt to special niece Evelyn Loaring and Peter and dear cousin to Anne Heath and Mike Saffran and Elena. Survived by nieces, Vicki Petras and Rosemary Breschuk-Chiu, nephews and cousins. Julie enjoyed a long and happy life in her home of almost 70 years surrounded by good friends and neighbours. Julie loved camping, travelling and taking care of her flower garden and creating beautiful floral arrangements. She was an excellent cook and made the best cabbage rolls and city chicken. Her welcoming smile and generosity will be missed by all who affectionately called her Mrs. “B”. Words cannot express the great loss felt by family and friends. She will live forever in our hearts and through our loving memories. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Thursday, July 4, 2019 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 am in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
