I'm saddened to hear of the passing of my beloved Auntie Julie Breschuk, on June 30th 2019. I have nothing but wonderful memories of her from my childhood, and regret that I have not seen her in over 30 years since since I moved to north of Toronto, from St. Clair Beach. My sister and I always looked forward to visits to Aunt Julie and Uncle Lee's home, where we always enjoyed the BEST Ukrainian and other Eastern European meals, including her "famous" city chicken (her hallmark dish!), perogies....she even made jello desserts exciting and something to look forward to! She was very kind and gracious, generous, had a wonderful laugh, the most lovely head of hair always beautifully coiffed. We always looked forward to summer visits at whichever trailer camp ground they were summering at, in southern Ontario. She was truly beautiful, inside and out, treated everyone equally, made guests to her home feel special and welcome and always well fed. She had a green thumb, as evidenced by her stunning annual flower gardens. She was predeceased by my Uncle Lee, my late father's brother, who we also miss. I offer my condolences to my cousins Jim, Andy and Mike and their respective families. I'm certain Aunt Julie left them with many and cherished memories. She will certainly be missed! Love always, Rosemary Breschuk-Chiu, Newmarket, Ontario, on behalf of John Chiu Sr, John Jr. Julian and Eugene Chiu and family. Rest Peacefully, in your Heavenly Garden, Auntie Julie
