Miss you dad. Wish we still had more time together. Will always remember you and the things we did. This is a picture I took of us August 6th, 2016 on the last trip out on the boat where we were able to ride on the flybridge. I'll always remember that trip and will always remember you. Gerry left us way too soon ... A good man, a wonderful father & an amazing boss. With a heavy heart I am sending my condolences to the loving and caring family who took such exceptional care of Gerry on his final journey. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity and legacy he created with Mayson Enterprises. Jerry was so supportive of apprentice programs with the school Boards. No matter whether OYAP, SHSM, St. Clair College PMT, he always tried to accommodate the students. Always open for tours of his shop. Made donations just like the bigger shops in our area. He will truly be missed. A gentle, gentle man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. We lost a very special man today. He wasn’t just my uncle, he was my godfather and my dads big brother. Uncle Gerry you were a man of many strengths. You did what you had to do to take care of your family. You and Aunt Virginia did an amazing job raising 4 amazing kids! You always had a smile on your face and would do anything for anyone. I remember as a kid always wanting to go visit just so we could go swimming in your indoor pool. You were a great man with a big heart, that must be where my dad got it from!
