I only got the pleasure of working with Kurt for the past 3-4 years, but it was definitely a joy to work with him. In addition to the great sense of humor that has been mentioned many times here, he also had great enthusiasm for his work and his family life. He was really a great person and will be sorely missed. My condolences go out to his family.

Kurt was always honest, always tried to do the right thing, and never took himself too seriously. He was a hardworking boss who tried to make us laugh every day, especially at his own expense. I learned a lot while working with him and will miss hearing him call for computer help from 3 cubes away. My deepest sympathies to Wendy, Chelsea, and Lauren; hearing him talk about you made it obvious he loved you more than anything and was so proud of his daughters.

Dear Wendy, Chelsey, Lauren and family...it was a great honour to care for Kurt during his illness and journey, he was one tough fellow always taking what it dished out at him in stride. I never once heard him complain, he was also so grateful for every little thing your did for him and well that smile could melt an iceberg. I always say I wish I’d met you all somewhere else under different circumstances you have the kindest family and I was so blessed to be a part of it. Sometimes some people touch your heart a little deeper and mine is actually a bit broken right now, Kurt was one of the special ones. I am going to be away for a couple of weeks so I’ll be unable to attend the memorial but know that you are in my heart and prayer today especially but always. Sending my love Kim Badour RN

Wendy, Chelsea & Lauren, my deepest sympathies on your terrible loss. I have wonderful memories of Kurt from quite a few years back, he was such a wonderful, warm and happy guy! I will never forget the Christmas he stood in for Santa Claus for our kids! I can still hear his booming ho ho ho over all these years. May you find peace in your happy memories of Kurt.
