Obituary of Art Drake

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Art on March 16, 2019 at 67 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of Pam (nee Angus) with whom he shared 47 years of marriage. Cherished and devoted father of Angela Chaulk and husband Ryan and Josh Drake. Adored grandpa of Simon, Jesse and Taylor. Predeceased by his parents Vern and Ysobel Drake and his in-laws Gus and Edna Angus. Dear brother of Bruce Drake and wife Peggy, Carrie Parent and husband Mike, John Drake and wife Christina and Tom Drake and late wife Denise. Dear brother-in-law of Karen Mailloux and husband Mike, Larry Angus and wife Vicki, Lynne Robbins and Mary Ann Gough and late husband Chuck. He will also be missed dearly by nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Art retired from Bell Canada after 34 years of dedicated service. Art will always be remembered for his selfless personality, his patience and his kind heart. He also had a strong passion for biking, swimming and sports. Above all, his unwavering love and devotion to his family will never be forgotten. At Art’s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Friday March 22, 2019 from 2- 5 p.m. In memory of Art, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Windsor Goodfellows.
