My dear friend Angela..... I am so sad to hear of your loss. Your Dad was an amazing man and although it seems unfair that he is gone so soon, I choose to instead think of how lucky you were to have him for all of those years. I remember oh so well him coming in to the store in his shorts no matter what season and I would have great little chats with him and also your Mom if she was with him.....and seeing him at the rink of course too....... he always had that great big smile ! I know how much he loved you all and he will be missed very much. Thinking of you all ❤️ Love, Marla & Wayne

Art’s was a life cut short, but when I think of the love and affection that surrounded him every day of his life, I think he lived a very full life. He gave as much love and happiness as he got. We will miss him so much, but how lucky we all are to have had him with us.

It is with deep sadness to hear of Arts passing. My heart breaks for you to have lost such a wonderful, loving man so early. Art was a great friend of my Dads and I most recently got to spend some time with him while he was so generously and happily helping Danny set up his bar. An example of his giving heart and love for his family and friends. There is nothing that will take the pain away but know that memories of Art and cherished times with love will carry you through these difficult days. Sending so much love to you! - Nina Colovic - Nina Colovic

My friend Art was the most sincere man I have ever known. The times I spent with him playing slow pitch and hockey or just sitting around discussing the Leafs or the Tigers over a beer or two, I will always remember. He never had a negative thing to say about anyone and if you would ask him “How are you?” he would always reply “Really, really well”. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. Carp

Please accept our condolences to to you and your Families at this sad time. Art became a good friend during our years at Bell Canada. There were several years after we had both retired that I didn't see Art as he and the family were living in B.C. Upon his return to Kingsville we reconnected at our monthly retiree's coffee mornings at Colasanti's . Everyone will miss his pleasant smile and disposition! Above are a few pictures from Art's life at Bell. The top picture is Art, caught working at the Maidstone SXS to DMS Cutover , April 30, 1988. The lower pictures are from the night of Art's Retirement Presentations at the Avondale Central Office, where a few of us had gathered to wish him well! Art may you rest in peace! Sincerely, Keith & Cora Bertram

I have so many great memories of Art. From all the Bell Canada Baseball tournaments to our many hours spent on the squash court. Was so shocked to here this news and it brought me right back to thinking about my last meeting with Art. Saw him a couple summers ago on his bike riding through the trails in East Riverside. We stopped and chatted for a few minutes and I asked him where he was headed. Told me he was on his way to Homedale Park to sit on Randy Schuchard's bench and have his lunch. A true testament to the great friend Art was. I am so sorry for his loss and my deepest condolences to the family.
