Obituary of Matthew Cole

Passed away peacefully at New Beginnings Rest Home on February 6, 2019 at the age of 57 years. Loving father to Angela (Matt) Deshaies, Sarah Cole (Derek Sargent), and Bradley (Taylor Benne). Dearest grandpa to Payton Deshaies. Loving brother to David “Smoke” Cole and Brad (Janey) Walsh “Walshy”. Uncle to Cody & Timothy Cole, and Evelyn & Kristen Walsh. Matt will be sadly missed by his former wife, Shelley Toth and the rest of the Sippel family. Predeceased by his parents, Glen & Lois Cole. Matt was a long-time professional golfer spending time on CPGA tour and most recently instructing in Windsor-Essex County. A special mention to all of the long-time friends Matt has made in the golf community and the support shown during his illness, especially Dale Thompson, Rick Durocher and Mark Kappus. The family would like to thank New Beginnings Rest Home, especially Anthony, for the quality care and compassion shown. A Celebration of Life Open House will be held at RIVERSIDE SPORTSMEN CLUB (10835 Riverside Dr E, Windsor) on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from noon to 3pm.
