I was so very sorry to hear of Jackson''s passing. He was a fantastic person, and a lot of fun to be around. When I started curling with Jackson, I knew nothing about the sport, and Jackson taught me most of what I know. I was able to make the A league because of him. I know God has welcomed him home with open arms. He is now one of God''s angels. Rest In Peace Jackson. You will be missed.

I went to high school with Jackson and was also on student council with him. For the short time I knew him, Jackson was so fun to be around and was always making me laugh. We would have many conversions about different things while we spent time together on student council. He was loyal to his friends and was so nice to everyone. Whenever I didn't have a ride home from school, he was totally fine with giving me a ride home. He always had a smile on his face. I am so sad to hear about his death but I know he fought as hard as he could. My condolences to his family. God Bless.

Jackson, I proud that you actually fought depression, no one else I know would be able to do that like no one would. It's just really unfortunate that you lost that battle. I didn't really hang out with you that much but we did have a class together and that alone let me know that you were a good, friendly, kind, and an awesome friend. I just don't understand why it had to be you. For you sake, we will all fight to help others just like you that dealt with depression because no one should lose their life for it. I hope hay you find peace with yourself wherever you are Jackson as you may rest in it. As for your Family, I don't even know what to think they are going through, as good friends with your brother Isaac, I really hope he stays strong I'm a time like this, because I know this is hard for him. Prayers up for you Jackson and may you rest I'm Peace. Your Friend, Mekhai Barnett.

As your family mourns, I cannot fathom the loss of a child. I work at Mental Health Connections on Erie Street, and this past fall my 20 daughter came home from Sheridan in Oakville with debilitating depression. You asked everyone in Jackson's Obituary to create awareness and fight the stigma. Thanks for looking out for those who challenge mental health symptoms and live in depression daily as you lay your Son to rest. May God be with you, as he is with your angel

The news of Jacksons passing saddened me terribly, but also made me remember what a wonderful person he was. I met him through high school curling and was immediately drawn to his sense of humour, willingness to help others, and his love for his friends. After talking to Jackson, I soon learned of his passion for photography and curating playlists on Spotify. I admired his ability to capture emotion through his photos, and his knack for painting a picture of a moment in time with the songs he put together in his playlists. I still listen to his favorite ever and fallin playlists often. Jackson added colour and happiness to my life as he did many others. May he rest peacefully.

Kathy and Ron, you are in our thoughts and prayers and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. Hearing about your loss has deeply saddened Carla and I, and we know very well that sadness is far from what you are going through right now. The passing of a child is not lifes natural order, with the grief and sorrow remaining with parents throughout the rest of their lives. Our hope is that you will find solace as we do, by consistently celebrating the wonderful life you were blessed to be a part of to help heal your hearts while you move forward.

To the Oglan family, its with absolute respect and kindness I say I mourn with you. Having conversed with Jackson on several occasions, most of which were in class at Holy Names and at baseball events, my own feeling of loss is evident. I could not imagine yours. Which is why Id like to let you know that this is a time that can be experienced together. You do not stand alone and for so many of us we hope to help each other along the way. I, as well as my family and friends, are keeping you all in our every prayer and sending our best hopes for your family. You have a good community by your side and we should all help each other through this. And we will get through this together. Thank you for blessing all of us with Jackson and to you, all the best condolences. Cordially, Jacob Fader
