I''m sorry to hear of Jacks passing. I have good memories of Jack who was a part of improving working conditions, wages and benefits for Canadian Ford workers. In addition, he continued his leadership as a retirees executive, served as Computers for Kids executive and worked to support the youth of our community. Jack was truly dedicated to his union and community. His good works have touched many and are an excellent example of what Jack was about. May he rest in peace.

Sue, Kathy, Ryan, Kelly and the many siblings On behalf of Local 1973 Retirees (GM retirees), we send our sincerest condolences to all of you. We thank you all for sharing Jack with us in the Labour movement. We are extremely grateful for Jacks dedication and commitment to our community and to workers. Lots of time was spent away from his family and friends because of his devotion as a trade Unionist. Jack played an integral part in improving peoples lives whether it was on the shop floor or in the community. Not only did Local 200 (FORD workers) benefit but from the gains his crew was able to get at the bargaining table but so did many others. His community activism also played an important role in his life. The countless number of hours at the BINGO hall did not go unnoticed. Many youth groups benefitted by his work. Jack continued to play a role in the labour movement even after retiring. A fixture in our Unifor Retirees Area Council bringing experience and knowledge to the table. We know you will miss him dearly but many of us will also miss him and the way he left his mark on this earth. May brother Jack rest in eternal peace. Till we meet again
