With Mel Orr there was no in between. If he liked you, you knew it, because he would do anything for you. Mel was a very generous man. Once in a while, Mel would ask me to deliver a load of stone or top soil to an address. I would ask, where is the bill. Mel would say. There isn''t one. This is on me. Yes, that was Mel always helping someone out. When my daughter Celeste was born, soon after, he bought her her first tricycle. When Denis was born, Mel bought him his first pair of bib overalls. To our two, he was forever Pepe Melvin to them. Like most people, we all have a Melvin Orr story. Debbie and I feel so blessed that Mel was an important part of our life. Rest well my friend.
