We never had the opportunity to meet Dorothy Malanfant, but we are confident we had a glimpse into who she was through knowing her son, Tom, in whom she clearly planted the seeds of a decent character, clear intelligence and an appreciation of doing the right thing in a compassionate way. We wish the entire Malanfant family the peace of knowing Dorothy made a difference in the world and that it mattered that she lived her life well.
