Obituary of Armando Viselli

Passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on November 9, 2016 with his loving wife by his side at 89 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of Stefania (nee Tocco) for 52 years. Cherished and devoted Papa of Angela Casoni and husband Frank and Sebastiano Viselli and wife Kelli. Adored and proud Nonno of Maria, Stefania, Sebastiano, Armando and Vanessa. Reunited with his parents Sebastiano and Arcangela Viselli, mother and father-in-law Giuseppe and Rosa Tocco and siblings Giuseppe, Carmine (Fernanda), Mario, Maria (Spartaco) Bombelli and Teresina. Dear brother-in-law of Assunta Viselli, the late Giacomo (late Sally) Tocco, the late Salvatore (surviving wife Maria) Tocco, Nicolina (late Sebastiano) Coppola, Rosamaria (Rosario) Cusumano, Amelia (late Salvatore) Cavallaro, Annarita (Lorenzo) Viviano and Vincenzo (Vittoria) Tocco. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Armando was a loving, compassionate and selfless man who cared for those around him with loyalty. He retired from Windsor Utilities after 35 years of dedicated service, was a proud member of the Giovanni Caboto Club where he sat on the Art and Culture Board, member of Ciociaro Club and was involved with many other multicultural communities throughout the city of Windsor. Armando had many accomplishments throughout his life with his brother Carmine, radio programs, Television shows on Cogeco 11 with his great friend Rob Scussolin, theatricals, orchestrating Children"s Choirs, and his latest accomplishment of publishing books. In his last years, his favourite past time was singing with his great friends Carmine and Davide Perri. Above all, his unwavering love and devotion to his family will never be forgotten. A special thank-you to the Doctors and staff at Windsor Regional Hospital " Ouellette Campus (Renal Dialysis Unit), "Good Morgan", C.C.A.C, Bayshore, Life After Fifty and Trinity Pharmacy for the care and compassion given to Armando. Visitation will held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East 519-253-7234 on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, November 14, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. In memory of Armando, memorial donations may be made to Windsor Regional Hospital- Ouellette Campus (Renal Dialysis Unit).
