Obituary of Helen Bulat

BULAT, Helen (nee Cicmil) Passed away at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus on July 3, 2016 at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by her husband Branko, and son Louis Bulat. Survived by daughter Dorothy Bulat. Predeceased by father John Cicmil and mother Kate Logan. Dear sister to Zorka Lux of St. Clair Shores, MI, George Cicmil of Minnesota, and Georgia Ann Cicmil of Hawaii. Predeceased by siblings Nelva, Dana, John Jr., Nick and Mike. Helen along with her sister Zorka began their work careers at Hudson Motors in Detroit, MI. (Jefferson and Connors) where they built aircraft bombers for WWII. Helen then became the owner and operator of Bulat"s Confectionary at 4898 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Norman Rd. for 37 years. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Chow and the nursing staff at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus (7th floor) for their compassionate care provided to Helen. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 11:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 pm in the Chapel. The Very Rev. Fr. Milan Jovanovic officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
