It was with a heavy heart I read the news about the greatest confectionary owner and friend ever. As a child, my family and friends loved to go to Bulats confectionary any chance we could go. Mrs. Bulat was always there along with one of the most amazing daughters anyone could ask for, Dorothy. Anyone could see she cherished the neighbourhood and the children. Cold pop and sweet penny candy in exchange for a few pop bottles. A chance to pet Toto the family dog and a drink of chocolate soldier pop. My first Coco Cola was there and I remember it to this day. Life couldn''t have been better for a kid! I just love that Dorothy still keeps the business open in honour of their family history and was raised with such a friendly spirit. The Bulat family is a Windsor treasure and I cannot express my sadness in knowing one piece of "my family" history is now gone. May God bless Dorothy and may He take Mrs. Bulat into his arms to welcome back one of his favoured daughters. All our love, The Marentette family
