Kozachuk family: When I read that Victor passed away it brought back memories to my early childhood days to the 1940s. My brother Joe Korchnak was younger than Victor, however they played together as children Joe has sadly since passed away - I believe the two families met somewhere else in Canada before moving to Windsor but memory is not serving me well. Myself being even younger than my brother I still recall Victor playing with me as child a wide smile from ear to ear a very fine human being - giving me so much attention, I adored him! My parents considering him and his brother George to be part of their family. My parents were very good friends with your grandmother who was also a very fine loving person -- in fact my parents and my brother Joe lived with her for a time in her home on Bloomfield Rd in Windsor. I still have a picture of your grandmother, my mother, your Dad and Uncle George in front of that very home. I also remember very well your lovely mother Mary an entire family of very beautiful people with a heart of gold. Many times I wondered what happened to Victor and if he would remember little Marywell, sadly I have my answer. Your Dad will always have a special place in your heart that will belong to HIM. Please know that all of his children, grandchildren are in my thoughts expressed by my deepest condolence. RIP Victor good friend. Mary (Korchnak) DeMartin
