Obituary of Vivian Rose Maurice

<br/><br/><br/> Maurice (nee Gagnon), Vivian Rose<br/><br/>Passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at the age of 89.<br/>Cherished wife of the late Harry Shipko (1970) and Aubert Maurice (2006). <br/>Loving Mother of Victor, Bernard, Carmen (Connie), Angela Bastien (late Rick Bastien, 2009) (Robert Schmidt). <br/>Grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. <br/>Daughter of the late Adelard and Mabel (nee Bondy) Gagnon. <br/>Dear sister of Ronald Gagnon (Julia), the late Maurice Gagnon (2019) (Sheila), Lloyd Gagnon (Candy), Donald Gagnon (Mae), Allan Gagnon (Sheila), Marlene Renaud (Paul), Denise Voros (Zoli). Dear sister in law of Lionel Poisson (the late Jeannette) and Pete Daudlin (the late Carolyn).<br/>She retired as a controller from International Tools. Her hobbies were cross stitching, bingo and dining out.<br/>Vivian was a long-time member of the Catholic Women’s League at Our Lady of Atonement Church and volunteered in the parish office for many years as a bookkeeper. <br/>Special thanks to Diane Soutar for her friendship and care of Mom. We would like to thank the Nurses and PSW's from the local Linh organization for their assistance and compassion over the last few months. <br/><br/>Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Banwell)<br/>519-253-7234<br/>11677 Tecumseh Rd. Windsor, ON<br/>On Friday, August 28th, 2020 from 2-4:30 p.m. (Private family prayers at 4:30) Visitation will continue from 7-9 p.m. <br/><br/><br/> Private Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Atonement, 2940 Forest Glade Dr. on Saturday, August 29th.<br/> Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.<br/><br/>Please note Masks are required at the funeral home, church and cemetery.
