Well, she did it. She finally left us. She was the first one to say she had had a good life. Her younger years had been more than rocky, but she sure made the best of what she had. She lived life to the fullest, she loved her family, she loved her friends and she loved coming into work every Wednesday afternoon. We would work hard and sometimes go out for supper and other Wednesday afternoons we would work hard and have supper and work some more. My husband called her a treasure., a one of a kind. She felt like a mom to me and I loved that she cared so much for Ron as well. She talked good of everyone, she never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She was kind, patient, thoughtful, loving and smart as a whip. She taught me soo many things about life and about myself. These lessons I will continue to carry through for the rest of my lifetime. She made Wednesday one of my favourite days of the week. I could talk to her about anything. Someone once said,[ “Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.” She has done that for me. My mentor, my friend. There will always be that footprint on my heart. I hope everyone has a special foot print on their heart for someone like Vivian. Because everyone needs a Vivian in their life! Thanks again Vivian. Love You. Mary
