Jeremy was an inspiration to encounter at every industry event for many years - I did not know him on a personal basis, but over the course of more than a decade of the same trade shows, business events, and business/social events, I felt like a friend. The way he managed his diagnosis, communicating it to his professional community, and the process of his illness was at the same time unconventional yet dignified and respectful. He impacted every life he encountered including that of my younger brother Andrew who is not easily won over and is often skeptical of people with faith. I knew by their immediate connection that your dad was someone special, and I am honoured to say I knew him, even briefly. My eyes filled with sadness at this news but my lips turned to praise. I hope knowledge of his great faith can provide you with some comfort in this difficult and trying time! I will have your family in my prayers for a long time to come! There was rarely a conversation with Jeremy that did not eventually come around to family and his love & pride for Claire and the children. Jeremy was my manager in buffet for a long time and I had the honour of working in several projects with him. He was definetely an honourable man and had my respect. I last seen him teasing that his son now runs a bigger buffet and has filled his shoes. He was very proud that Andrew is doing well, which is what we all want as parents. My prayers and thoughts to all family members.
