Obituary of Josephine Jessie Bodyk

Passed away peacefully on August 16, 2020 At Regency Park LTC. at the age of 101. Predeceased by her husband William Sr. (1977). Caring mother of Evelyn, Irene (2016), William Jr., Leonard, Leon, Ted, and Jeffrey. Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Loving daughter of Maciej and Zenia (nee Gromicki). Predeceased by her cherished siblings John (Lena), Bernie Troniak, Carol (John) Maygard, Jean (Casey) Grocholski, Sally (Joe) Guyda, Ann (Charles) Churko, Clara (Stanley) Zaretsk, and half-sister of Rosie Miller and Mary Zelych all of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Josephine will also be missed by many nieces and nephews across Canada and the U.S.A.. A special thank you to the staff at Regency Park LTC for their care and compassion during the last 6 years. Josephine’s family would also like to thank the Students at St. Clair College who also took care of Josephine at Regency Park LTC. A special thank you to Nadia Razwan for the comfort and care she showed Josephine. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm.
