Obituary of Mary Cecile Kucharski

KUCHARSKI, Mary (nee Kaniewski) It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Mary on September 7, 2014 in her 99 1/2 year. A loving mother, Babcia, Pra-Babcia and Pra-Pra-Babcia. Reunited with her husband Edward (1997). Loving and devoted mother to son Richard (Bev) and daughter Dolores and late husband Terry (2007). Cherished grandmother of Bill (Debbie), Norman, Michelle (Mark), Fr. Matt and Karen, great-grandmother of Alyssa, Katie, Eric, Hannah and Tessa and great-great-grandmother of Kassie. Predeceased by her parents Marcianna (1960) and Vincent (1970) Kaniewski, brothers Edward (1949) Anthony (1987), and sister-in-law Stella (2000) and great-grandchild Mitchell (1987). Mary is survived by one niece Bertha Onuch and several cousins. She was a devoted parishoner of Holy Trinity Polish Church and celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary there. She attended Most Precious Blood Parish weekly for several years until she entered Tecumseh Extendicare Nursing Home. Mary's greatest pride and joy in life was her loving family. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (Banwell Chapel) 253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9pm. Prayers Friday at 7:30pm. Family and friends will gather Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 9:30am at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd.) until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Rev. Matt Kucharski (grandson) officiating. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
