I have very fond memories of Mary. As a Transit WIndosr bus driver, I had the privilege of having this sweet lady ride my Crosstown 2. I would see her standing at the bus stop and a smile would come over my face. She would get on the bus and I would hear all the letest news about her family. She bragged often of her grandchildrens' accomplishments. That special sparkle in her eye and her amazing zest for life was infectious and inspirational. She hoped she would make it to her 100th birthday and I am saddened to learn she fell short of that. Knowing Mary, as I did, it is probably the only thing she fell short of in her entire life. I stopped driving three years ago and of all my "regular" passengers, Mary was missed the most. I know I can speak on behalf of all Transit WIndsor drivers that knew Mary, she made our jobs much more enjoyable. Thank you Mary for being a small part of our lives, you made us better people just by being you. Earth may have dimmed a bit but heaven is so much brighter! My heartfelt condolences to her family. There will be a large "Mary shaped void" in your lives but your memories will carry you through until you see here again.
