Obituary of Vernon Noel Bruce Richards

RICHARDS, Vern Passed away suddenly on April 6, 2014 at the age of 85. Predeceased by wife Doris "Dot" (1992). Loving father to Alcida, Glenda (Pete), Janet (Alison), and especially Ann. Grandfather to Abigail and Veronica, Viviane, Stephanie, Danielle and great-grandfather to seven. Dear brother to Gladys. Vern will be missed by partner and best friend, Doris Merlot. Dad will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humour and his love of bird watching, orchid growing, fishing, astronomy and Toby. Friends may remember him from Bishop Field College, Memorial University, Nova Scotia Tech and C.M.H.C. Cremation has taken place.
